Gibraltar Jazz a duet comprised of guitarist/vocalist Richie Naef and vocalist Phyllis Novin. Their sound has been described as JazzABilly-Retro but Rockin. They cover Standards, Jazz and R&B giving them a fresh upbeat twist. Wide ranging credits include NY bands, Corporate events, Senior venues, musical theater, cabaret, songwriting, sound track work. While their roots are firmly planted in rock and blues, they have always admired the sounds of the golden age of jazz and swing . Gibraltar Jazz is the result of a love of those great songs. Richie records and arranges the songs adding drums and bass. The duo then perform guitar and vocals live to creating a quartet setting. Gibraltar Jazz, a duet with the sound of a sultry female jazz singer, backed by a swinging little band.
